Striking Harbor Home

This family home, designed by the owner’s son – a seasoned architect – is perfectly perched on a hill with sweeping views of the nearby harbor. The vision was to create a contemporary home with a sophisticated interior that emphasized the natural beauty of the exterior landscape. The architect designed the home with most of the living space on the lower level and thoughtfully integrated an elevator into the design to increase accessibility to the second level. The clients worked closely with the designer, Sara Bass of Signature Design & Cabinetry, to develop a neutral palette, consisting of white, black, tan and taupe, accentuated with beautiful gold accents throughout the home. Special attention was given to the kitchen and butler’s pantry to create a timeless, yet sleek setting that is perfect for entertaining!
